Why Work With Eventwise

For more than 15 years, I’ve led international nonprofits and associations through conferences, global travel, and moments of real physical risk. I’ve navigated natural disasters, unexpected political violence in host cities, and real threats to staff members. I’ve developed risk management frameworks to meet the current moment and helped organizations move forward with clarity and care while also ensuring events are accessible and inclusive beyond ADA compliance. I truly believe that accessibility can be a huge reputational and compliance risk and that accessible events improve the attendee experience for everyone. That’s why I’m committed to helping you design safer and more inclusive events with confidence.

Mission Driven Companies

Two men and two women sit in two rows in a conference room. Three of the people have laptops and are smiling.

You’re leading global teams amid shifting visa policies, airline disruptions, and alarming headlines. Your most trusted conference cities suddenly seem risky and you’re considering changing venues. Or maybe you want to make sure your events are accessible and inclusive beyond ADA compliance.

When your organization is responsible for bringing international staff, board members, and attendees into the U.S., you can’t afford guesswork. Eventwise gives you the clarity, structure, and reassurance you need to protect your people. You get expert guidance rooted in real‑world experience, practical protocols and procedures tailored to your staff structure, and a partner who understands the operational weight you’re carrying.

If you’re looking for event-specific risk or accessibility guidance that meets the current moment, let’s talk.

Can’t AI tools handle this for us?

AI can analyze information, but it won’t know all of the nuances and on-the-ground realities you and your team navigate on a daily basis. By working with Eventwise, you get a human partner who understands that every convening is different and how to tailor protocols and tools that work for you and your team in reality.

Where does Eventwise sit between our travel management company and a full‑scale risk consulting firm?

Your travel management company handles bookings and logistics. Your enterprise risk firm provides broad assessments across travel, cyber, geopolitical, and organizational risk. Eventwise sits in the middle — the space where broad risk organizational risk assessments need to be translated into practical, event‑specific plans tailored to your reporting lines and workflows.

How much do you charge?

The hourly rate starts at $175, but most projects are priced based on the specific type of support you need — whether that’s a training session, a crisis readiness evaluation, policy/procedure modernization, a combination of services or ongoing fractional support. Because every convening and organizational context is different, I provide a clear, customized estimate after we discuss your goals, the scope of work, and timelines. This ensures you only pay for the support that’s truly relevant to your event, your level of risk, and your internal capacity.

When should we bring Eventwise into the planning process?

Most teams bring in their TMC early for logistics and rely on their enterprise risk firm for broad assessments. Eventwise fits in once you need to turn those inputs into clear, event‑specific plans. Eventwise can help as soon as you select a host city or later when attendee questions begin to surface. This is also the point when an event‑specific risk review or assessment becomes most valuable — grounding your decisions in current conditions and the realities of your attendees. The timing is flexible — the value comes from having structured, practical support that connects your existing partners’ work to the realities of your event.
